IWNSD Scholarship
The Insurance Women of North San Diego County, the local chapter of the National Association of Insurance Women International, has established a scholarship fund to help people to obtain qualifications and licensing through education.

Region VIII Scholarship
The Region VIII scholarship was established by Imperial Premium Finance, Inc. for the purpose of providing financial assistance to the Region VIII NAIW members who require assistance for their educational endeavors.
The objective of the scholarship is to promote education among Region VIII NAIW members and to permit Imperial Premium Finance Inc. and others to contribute to a worthwhile program for the benefit of all local association members.
Scholarship Criteria
- The applicant must be a member of NAIW Region VIII, in good standing for at least one year prior to applying.
- A completed application must be signed by either the President or Education Chairperson of the local association, verifying the applicants NAIW membership status.
- A copy of the applicants class/course registration form must accompany the application.
Administration
- A committee comprised of two (2) representatives from Imperial Premium Finance, Inc. and one (1) Region VIII NAIW member selected by Imperial Premium Finance Inc. annually will review the submissions. Based on a majority vote of the committee members, scholarship funds will be dispersed.
- Limit of $500.00 per calendar year, per recipient applys to the scholarship funds.
Submission Deadlines
- Applications to the fund will be accepted twice a year, on August 1st and December 1st.

NAIW Education Foundation Scholarship
The National Association of Insurance Women (International), and the NAIW Education Foundation are dedicated to one purpose: supporting and encouraging the education of current and potential insurance industry professionals. The NAIW Education Foundation grants professional scholarships for those already working in the insurance industry.
Scholarship Criteria
- Applicants must be currently employed in the risk and insurance field, with a minimum of two years employment in the industry.
- Applicants must be engaged in a course of study designed to improve their knowledge and skill in performing their employment responsibilities.
- Applicants may not receive full reimbursement for the expenses of tuition, books, etc., from their employer or any other outside source.
- Applicants must submit an essay describing their chosen career path, goals, and how the courses will help the applicant reach the stated goal.
- Applicants must submit a completed employer/industry leader recommendation form.
Scholarship Amounts
- One or more scholarships may be awarded annually.
- Scholarship recipients and awards will be decided by the NAIW Education Foundation Board of Directors.
- Scholarships will be awarded three times each year.
- Payments will be made directly to the individual: the first 75% will be paid immediately and the final 25% will be paid when the applicant provides proof of successful completion.
